This is the fifth, and probably last!, in a series of caches intended to repopulate Belmont Park in east Belfast, where there used to be several caches but most are now archived.
Belmont Park is a small park bounded by Circular Road, Cairnburn Road and Old Holywood Road/Belmont Road in east Belfast, formally opened in the 1980s (see the stone by the Old Holywood Road/Belmont Road entrance). It is bisected by the A55 dual carriageway with two bridges over the road to link the two halves of the park. It's a popular dog walking location, and also has a children's play area and some forest paths.
For caching purposes, there is parking at the Circular Road entrance (CIYMS) and a smaller car park at the Old Holywood Road entrance. Cycling cachers can also get there via either of these two entrances or on the A55 cycle path, but note that the park is a bit too steep in places to cycle through easily!
The cache is a camouflaged nano adjacent to the perimeter with CIYMS where people can play rugby, tennis, cricket and more.
