Eran los años 80, todos los veranos íbamos de camping a Dénia desde Valencia. Este trayecto que ahora hacemos sin problemas en una hora, en aquellos tiempos era toda una aventura, tanto que hasta parábamos a mitad camino a "fer l'esmorçar". A los niños habían dos motivos que nos mantenían atentos en el viaje, uno eran los túneles y ser capaces de atravesar las montañas por dentro y el otro "LA CASA DE PECHINES".
Cuando se acercaba, mi padre nos avisaba y nos poníamos a mirar por la ventana, allí aparecía majestuosa una casa hecha de pechines(conchas). Eran unos pocos segundos mientras nuestras tartanas pasaban por la autopista, pero nos dejaban tan embobados, tanto que luego los niños de los diferentes coches lo hablábamos "-¿Habéis visto la casa de pechines?.- Claro, que chula. -Yo voy a empezar a coger para hacerme la mía igual de mayor..."
Pero un año, no vimos la casa y a partir de ahí dejamos de verla siempre, ¿COMO PUEDE DESAPARECER UNA CASA?
La cuestión es que los años fueron pasando, los coches corrían más, las carreteras eran mejores, yo tenia carnet y las tecnologías iban avanzado, ahora he hecho hasta 4 trayectos Denia-Valencia en un día sin problemas... pero mis recuerdos seguían estando.
Así que me propuse encontrar la casa de pechines que tan feliz nos hacía de pequeños. Ya soy adulto y sé que ¡¡¡Las casas no desaparecen!!!.
Empecé a fijarme cada vez que hacia el recorrido en el coche, fui descartando tramos, hasta que algo me parecía "sospechoso", aprovechamos las nuevas tecnologías y revisé los aledaños de la autopista con el googlemaps y ¡¡¡APARECIÓ!!!. La siguiente vez hice el trayecto lento, de copiloto y la pude ver, allí estaban las ruinas, los cimientos y ¡¡¡QUEDABAN PECHINAS PUESTAS!!!
Lo tenía claro, iba a poner un caché en la construcción como recordatorio.
Así que hemos venido a poner el caché(el sitio se merecía un caché especial) y de paso he visto por primera vez en mi vida las instalaciones de primera mano y... ¡¡¡HEMOS ALUCINADO!!! ¡¡¡ESTÁ HECHA TOTALMENTE DE PECHINAS!!!
El abandono, las ruinas y la maleza le dan cierto encanto y nos dejan una pequeña muestra de la grandeza que tuvo en su día.

In the 80's, every summer we went to a camping in Dénia from Valencia. This journey, that we now make without problems in an hour, in those days was an adventure. The children had two reasons that kept us attentive on the trip, one was the tunnels being able to cross inside the mountains and the other "THE SHELL'S HOUSE".
When he approached, my father warned us and we began to look out the window, there a majestic house made of shells appeared. It was a few seconds while our cars passed by the highway, but they left us so dumbfounded, so much so that later the children from the different cars talked about it "-Have you seen the house of shells? -Of course, that's cool. -I'm going to collect shells to make mine just as big..."
But one year, we did not see the house and from then on we always stopped seeing it, HOW CAN A HOUSE DISAPPEAR?
The years run, the cars ran faster, the roads were better, I had a license and the technologies were advancing, now I have made up to 4 Denia-Valencia ways in one day without problems...
So I set out to find the house of shells that made us so happy when we were little kids. I am now an adult and I know that houses do not disappear!!!
I began to pay attention every time I made the route in the car, I was discarding sections, until something seemed "suspicious", we took advantage of the new technologies and I checked the outskirts of the motorway with googlemaps and IT APPEARED!!! The next time I made the slow journey, as co-pilot and I could see it, there were the ruins and THERE WERE SHELLS ON!!!
It was clear to me, I was going to put a cache in the build as a reminder.
So we have come to put the cache (the site deserved a special cache) and by the way I have seen for the first time in my life the installations on live and... WE HAVE AMAZED!!! IT IS COMPLETELY MADE OF SHELLS!!!
