Port Hope was at one time home to four separate railway lines. This Wherigo takes you to current and former railway locations around town and uses historic photos to help you imagine what the town looked like during the golden age of rail.
You can download the Wherigo cartridge here.
The tour is about 4km long and ends far from the start, so you may want to drive to the various waypoints.
Since the wherigo app is notoriously unstable, please let me know if you encounter any troubles while doing the tour. Also if you happen to be a local/railway history buff with details or photos that could be added, feel free to send me a message.
