Geocache Description:

Come explore Sandy Bottom Park. Located at the north end of Honeoye Lake, this park has a picnic pavilion that is available to rent, boardwalk, playgrounds, softball field and offers fishing and swimming. Take in the beautiful lake views.

At the trailhead there is a map and more information about the Nature Trail. Be sure to read about all of the creature inhabitants of this great trail. If you have the time, take the hike. Its an easy mile long loop with many interest points to stop at. In the summer we play a game to spot wildflowers in all colors of the rainbow.

This cache was planted by a Girl Scout. She wanted to bring more people in to enjoy this gem of a park. The cache has a log, pencil, and trinket to trade. Have fun!

Cograts to @MrsMcFly for FTF... they are also a Girl Scout!
