The fifth in a series to remember the regular walks we did, and new area we discovered during the various covid lockdowns. The first part of our walking route - from Exeter Quay to Bridge Road - is well covered with caches, so this series focuses on the 2nd half of our circuit and the new wildlife area we found.
This cache is placed as you walk towards the Industrial Estate at the end of the path - however the area is often very quiet and there is a wide variety of birds and other wildlife both visible or audible. We have seen Pheasant and Rabbit on the path here and birds of prey in the sky above. You are looking for a container close to the path - should be very visible some of the year but may be hidden by overgrowth into spring and summer.
Wheelchairs, pushchairs and bikes can easily get to within a few metres of the cache but the final stretch is just off level ground. In spring and summer the area can get very overgrown - but the cache should be accessible year round
