I have put these out on a plesent detour road and this trail can grow. The intent is puzzles can be solved at home before heading out, note the listed co-ordiantes are fake and nothing is there. Due to the size of the containers there are no pens/pencils in them so you will need to bring your own - photo logs will not be accepted.
To make it easier to work out where the safe parking areas; Silver have been placed heading Outrum to Lee Stream (anticlockwise) and Black have been placed heading Lee Stream to Outrum (clockwise).
There have been six King Georges in the UK, and I can't find the history as to who George King was, I decided for the purpose of these caches to think someone named their child George King at time King George was on throne.... so continuing on playing along this line of thought that the Memorial Drive is based off a King George... possibly George V as he would have ruled at the time New Zealand was part of the commonweath?
King George V estabished in 1917 the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) is a British order of chivalry; rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. They comprise of five classes across both civil and military divisions, with the most senior two classes making the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female.
As a child I was disappointed the knights did not dress up in mail armour and ride around on their steeds... after all thats what all the knights in the books and movies did.
So I think this memorial road should celebrate more than just a king but the knights and dames (although I thinka woman knight would be pretty cool).

"None shall pass" to get past this black knight to find the cache..... just be careful to get no more than just a scratch when out hunting for these finds.
