L’aspetto dei litorali sabbiosi oggi appare semplificato e funzionale agli insediamenti balneari .
Per proteggere la spiaggia dalla continua opera di erosione del mare sono state costruite barriere artificiali . Anche la rigogliosa pineta che ha procurato ad Eraclea Mare la fama di “Perla verde” dell’Adriatico è di origine artificiale. Infatti il bosco spontaneo in origine era composto da diverse specie di latifoglie: pioppo bianco, ontano, roverella e biancospino.
Siamo felici di creare un percorso per condividere angoli di litorale nei quali soffermarsi e contemplare, riflettere, in perfetta armonia con la natura che ci circonda.

To protect the beach from the continuous erosion of the sea, artificial barriers have been built. Even the luxuriant pine forest that procured Eraclea Mare's reputation as the "green pearl" of the Adriatic is of artificial origin. In fact, the spontaneous forest was originally composed of several species of broad-leaved trees: white poplar, alder, downy oak and hawthorn.

Das Erscheinungsbild von Sandstränden erscheint heute für Badeorte vereinfacht und funktional.
Um den Strand vor der ständigen Erosion des Meeres zu schützen, wurden künstliche Barrieren gebaut. Sogar der üppige Kiefernwald, der Eraclea Mare den Ruf als "grüne Perle" der Adria verschaffte, ist künstlichen Ursprungs. Tatsächlich bestand der spontane Wald ursprünglich aus mehreren Arten von Laubbäumen: Weißpappel, Erle, Falscheiche und Weißdorn.
