Palindromic dates are those in which the digits can be read the same way forwards or backwards. Because of the varying ways in which dates are written around the world, a palindromic date in one date format may not be considered a palindrome in another. 22-02-2022 is an example of a palindromic date in the logical European format!
22022022
The Chilihouse (well, at least one of us...) will be at GZ, where there is shelter in case of inclement weather, to celebrate 2022's palindrome day, from 2pm until 2.30pm, ensuring that we can be there for all the 2's at 2.22pm on the 22-2-22, which seems appropriate to align with the 'Deuces Wild' souvenir which is available today.
There is step-free access to GZ. As the event is outdoors, please make sure to wrap up warm. To align with the souvenir, you might even include a 'tutu' in your outfit, although the EO will not be doing so, obviously!
There is a café nearby which, at time of publication, was advertised as being open until 3pm on Tuesdays.
You can also, of course, bring along any trackables you have for swapping or discovering. You can also discuss any puzzles you are working on - hopefully somebody at the event will be able to offer some helpful insights...

A few not so random words about caching:
Was it a rat I saw or was it a car or a cat I saw?  Either way, step on no pets as you make your way to the event. Use your caching radar to find the location. It’s important that you don’t nod off, as this may appear rude, and your cheeks might turn redder! “I did, did I?” is a common response when being asked about a previous find you’ve made but don’t remember. If there are any muggles around, mum’s the word…
It’s almost like our civic duty to keep an eye on our stats, to refer to them at every opportunity, where possible level up and to try and get top spot in one of the categories. Some of us like to be the reviver of lonely caches. We’ve all probably been involved in a few caching sagas. Some of us like to cache by kayak. When following me on a drive-by series, pull up if I pull up! It’s never odd or even a bit strange to have a cheeky look behind every electrical box in case there is an unsolved puzzle cache or multi hidden there!
Geocaching is a new tenet for some people. With Adventure Lab caches, are we not drawn onward, we few, drawn onward to new eras? Missing trackables – Dammit, I’m mad! Did the cacher borrow or rob them from the cache?
