I'm not talking about the poker hand or the movie!!
GroundSpeak are offering several souvenirs in 2022, including this one called "Deuces Wild" for logging a Found It or Attended log on 22/2/22 (love the symmetry of those numbers -also a palindrome).
So, are you able to have a late lunch or an early afternoon tea and join me at Midland Park? It's pretty central for most people working in Wellington, and hopefully not too impossible for those based elsewhere or working from home and have to travel in. There is also some shelter should Wellington's weather decide to be 'wintery' on the day.
We will aim to be in the square, close to the Katherine Mansfield statue (and the nearby traditional and virtual caches). This area is muggle central, but hopefully not at this time of the day.
I wonder if we can all sign the log book between 2 o’clock 22 min 00 seconds and 2 o’clock 23 min 00 seconds!!
Please note as per the regional guidelines (New Zealand - Geocaching.com Wiki - Geocaching Wiki (groundspeak.com)) which are in line with the ministry of health rules; geocaching events are classed as Social Gatherings and depending on traffic light restrictions may apply.
Please note if you are attending the event, we are being asked to advise everyone;
- Stay home if you are ill - or have been asked to isolate;
- Please scan the event QR code, as required under the traffic light rule on covid.govt.nz;
- Please wear your mask, as required under the traffic light rule on covid.govt.nz;
- Currently Wellington is in Covid traffic light level orange, so I do not need to check your vaccination pass as we are meeting outside. However, should Wellington go to Covid traffic light level red, this event will still go ahead as we are meeting outdoors and I will have to check your Covid vaccination pass.
