The colors of this building always me of my High School (HS) alma mater, Lane Technical High School (or as it is known these days: Lane Tech College Prep). Lane is the largest HS in the city of Chicago, IL, with an enrollment of 4200 students and a staff of over 350! The school colors are Myrtle and Gold (aka green and yellow). In 1915, Jack T Nelson composed our rousing school song ‘Go, Lane, Go!’ Though still a student, Jack was extraordinarily talented and served as the assistant conductor of the Lane Orchestra, manager of the Glee Club and was an accomplished musician himself at the time.
This cache is located a short walk from the convenient parking. We suggest coming during the weekend to prevent being spotted by those here on official business.
