My name honours and recognises an insect endemic to South Africa. This insect has several different names including a knickname ( ? ) and a Latin name.
The insect's knickname is the same as that of an indigenous tree found along the Garden Route. The number of letters in it's knickname ( no "s" please ! ) will give you Clue "A"
