Little Free Library® (LFL) is the world's largest book-sharing movement that promotes community book exchanges, usually in the form of public bookcases. Started in the U.S., the movement promotes literacy and a love for reading, where strangers can take a book and leave one for someone else to find. At present count, there are currently more than 100,000 registered LFLs worldwide, with more than 90,000 public book exchanges. This geocache is inspired by the LFLs I saw in the U.S. and Canada, and combines 2 of my favourite activities - geocaching and reading. There are a handful of LFLs in Singapore, and GZ brings you to one of them. To learn more, please visit www.littlefreelibrary.org.
The cache is accessible 24/7. Although it is likely no one would know if you're visiting to exchange a book or locate the cache, please exercise stealth when retrieving. Do also replace the cache exactly where you found it, and appreciate if no spoilers could be given in the logs!
Bring a book, some swag (cache is able to fit TBs and trinkets), enjoy and have fun!
Credits given to owner of this lovely LFL, Dr Lim of Lim Family Clinic. Permission was obtained to place geocache at the library.
