Anyone ready for a BBQ? (you might have to bring your own). This quaint little park is another Wheat Ridge "Pocket Park" with tennis courts, pickleball courts, playground, pavilian, benches, tables, lots of shade in the summertime. It's a lonely park in the winter. It's called Apel-Bacher Park.
First of all, before you jump into this one, it's NOT on the roof so you don't need to climb on it. You CAN NOT physically see it with your naked eyes ...... Remember the old commercial that rang out .... "Let your fingers do the walking, to find what you are looking for"? (yellow pages-The younger generation probably don't even know what that was) ..... Keep this in mind as you are looking. .... Good Luck.
