Governor Dick AL bonus Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

BethKatzPA: Archiving. It’s been too cold or I’ve been too busy to stop. Yesterday we were between FTF tries. I’ll need to edit the Adventure Lab stages.

Geocache Description:

This is the bonus cache for the  "Governor Dick" and Clarance Schock Adventure Lab.

The container is not at the posted coordinates. That is a good place to park. Your vehicle can stay there while you do the lab.

Completing the lab will require hiking. Some of the stages are flat, but others are not. One stage may be wheelchair accessible in normal weather. One other stage is a fairly flat and short hike. Do those first. The other three stages are a more substantial hike but very worth it. This is publishing in winter. There was snow on the ground when I placed the container. It was slippery, but I had normal hiking shoes. There were also some trees down across the trails, but they should be cleaned up after a while. I walked around them.

The journal entries for the lab stages will provide parts of the coordinates to locate the cache which is about 40 feet off the trail depending on how you approach.

Alert: The Tower is part of the "The Many Views of SEPAG and Where to Find Them" AL which has its pin in downtown Philadelphia. It is non-sequential and you can pick up that location if you open that adventure. If you are Philly-challenged, try these coordinates to see where the AL pin is on the map: N 039° 57.188' W 075° 09.905'

There are many wonderful caches in this park including Raiders of the Lost Cache - GC2HN2H which was named one of the best geocaches for beginners and has a multitude of favorite points. There is also Challenge of the Century: Small - GC19H7B where you must have found 100 small size containers. And there are many others. Enjoy your visit to this wonderful park.

Thank you, Clarence Schock, for your gift of this playground for all ages through the ages.

Congratulations to NoBlueCircles for the First-to-Find.
