Reštitúcia pozemkov sa na Slovensku začala v deväťdesiatych rokoch minulého storočia a Pozemkové spoločenstvo urbrialistov mesta Holíč bolo zaregistrované 7.apríla 2014. Jeho členovia sa neskôr rozhodli postaviť na okraji svojho lesa vysoký kríž zo statného duba. In Slovakia, the restitution of land started in the nineties of the last century and the forest landowners association in Holíč was reconstituted in 2014. Later, its members decided to build a high cross made of oak wood and erect it near the edge of the forest they own.
