I'll bet you can't guess why I am hosting this event!
It could be to celebrate National Margarita Day- Make that Two, please! That along with traditional Taco Tuesday. TIDBIT: Since 1989 the phrase Taco Tuesday has been a registered trademark of one of the largest Mexican restaurant chains in the United States. Therefore, it is technically illegal for other restaurants to use this phrase.

If you were ever a Girl Scout you could celebrate National Thinking Day, first held in 1926, a day to think of other girls scouts around the world and stand up for causes to make the world a better place for them. TIDBIT: Scouts use acronyms just like geocachers! Do you know what DYB or DIB stands for?

Former Boy Scouts can remember the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouts movement, on Founders Day. TIDBIT: 11 of the 12 astronauts who have walked on the moon are Boy Scout alums.

All of you animal lovers will love World Spay Day and Walking The Dog Day to remind pet owners to be responsible. TIDBIT: World Spay Day, traditionally held on the last Tuesday in February, was created by Doris Day and first held in 1995. It's purpose is to spread awareness of the long-term health benefits of spaying or neutering your cats, dogs and rabbits. Walking the dog will have long-term health benefits for the pet as well as for the owner!

Be sure to thank an employee for Supermarket Employee Day and eat a sweet potato for National Cook a Sweet Potato Day. TIDBIT: The shopping cart was introduced on June 7,1937 in Oklahoma by Sylvan Goldman, owner of a very large grocery chain.

All of these are great things to remember, but today lets celebrate 2-22-22! And you can earn a souvenir for attending.
I will arrive early to stake out a place to meet. Watch for announcements.
At this point, there are no Covid restrictions. Please do not attend if you are feeling sick or have recently been exposed to anyone who has been sick. We will look forward to seeing you at another time!
