Pysäköin ajokkini oheiselle parkkipaikalle. Vieterinä pomppasin ulos ja vilkuilin ympärilleni. "Haa, tuossahan se on!" Katselin yläviistoon kohti mahtavaa kalliojärkälettä. Viiletin ylös portaita pohtien, että muistaakseni joku erityinen nimikin tällä oli... Viis siitä, ylhäällä odotti henkeäsalpaava näky! Joka suuntaan levittäytyi kaunista joenrantamaisemaa. Mitäs sitten?!? Tähyilin edelleen ympärilleni ja viimeinen silmäni tarkentuivat suuntaan jonne olin pyrkimässä. Nappasin kiinni vitjoista, jotka roikkuivat taskustani ja kiskaisin esiin isoisäni vanhan taskunauriin. Kyllä, kohteeni näytti olevan tismalleen suunnassa 35 vaille kymmenen astetta. Nuolaisin etusormeani, tunnustelin tuulta. Sormimitalla sain matkaksi linnuntietä aika tarkkaan 1061 m, yksi metri sinne tai tänne.
Lähdin siis laputtamaan portaita alas, ja tosiaan alas asti ihan joen reunalle. Siitä jatkoin hölkkää jokea myötävirtaan läpi kauniin rantapuistomaiseman. Eteeni tuli silta jonka ylitin - vastaan tuli vain yksi pyöräilijä. Sillan toiseen päähän päästyäni huomasin lähellä julkisen hotelli helpotuksen. En kuitenkaan innostukseltani tuntenut sille tarvetta - valitsin siis täsmälleen vastakkaisen suunnan. Lähdin pitkin rantaa nauttien täysin rinnoin idyllistä. Kuljin ohi rantakahvilan ja laivankin. Edelleen jatkoin matkaa kunnes tulin pinkihtävän talon luokse. Hetken sitä ihailin ja taas jatkoin vielä hiukan rantaa eteenpäin. Keskeltä pientä viherpätkää näin ajokadun nousevan ylämäkeen, ja suuntasin sinne. Mäen päällä käännyin oikealle johtavalle kujanpätkälle. Lyhyt matka eteenpäin ja huomasin vasemmalla talojen väliin jäävän viherkaistaleen, joka poikki johti polku. Rohkeasti käännyin tälle polulle ja sitä pitkin saavutin uuden autotien. Autotien laitaan päästyäni huomasin edessäni alueen, jossa nuoria oli ilkamoimassa jonkinlaisen pelin tiimellyksessä. Nyt tiesin olevani lähellä, koska näillä main piti minun kohteeni tavata. Eikä aikaakaan kun totesin herrojen Ohukainen ja Paksukainen seisovan tyynesti vierekkäin harmaissaan minusta hiukan vasempaan, tosin kasvot aivan toiseen suuntaan kuin mistä nuo lasten äänet kuuluivat. Lounainen leppoista ilmavirta kuulemma hiveli kasvoja niin mukavasti. Tiedä häntä, mutta herroilta sain kuin sainkin sen mitä olin vailla.

I parked my car, stepped out eagerly and started to glace around me. "Haa, there it is!" I looked at the massive rock. When running the stairs up, I tried to remember the name of the place... Never mind, what a gorgeous scenery waited me up there! The most beautiful river banks as far as my sight was able to register. Then what? Still looking around and finally my eyes spotted the right direction. I took my grandpa's old pocket watch out and looked at it. Yep, my target was exactly to direction of 35 to 10 am degrees. I licked my forefinger and tested the wind. Based on this "thumb-rule" estimation I got the result 1061 m, one meter give or take.
I climbed down the stairs, all the way down to the riverbank. I started to jog down the river through the beautiful shore park area. Then I reached the bridge and crossed the river via it. At the other end of the bridge I noticed nearby a public restroom. II was, however, so excited that I did not feel any need for that now. I chose the totally opposite direction. I continued by the nice river shore enjoying with the full heart of idyllic view. I passed the cafe and even a ship. I went on and on until I came to a pink house. After a short moment of wondering, I continued still on the riverside. After the pink house and at the middle of lawn area, I noticed the road leading uphill - I went there. At the top I turned right to a small alley. Short walk on and there was a park-type green area between the houses with a path. I took the path and that lead me to another street. When I reached the street I noticed a playfield in front of me; children playing something and laughing at loud. Now I knew I was very close to my destination, because this was the area I should meet my partners. And after a short, I spotted the gentlemen Stan and Ollie standing calmly a little left from my position in their grey outit, but their faces turned just opposite direction from the playground. Southern-west fresh air was more for them, they said. Who knows... But by the gentlemen I found the thing I was here for.
