This new subdivision came to our attention when we were exploring new areas for lockdown walks and we have been enjoying watching the changes each time we choose to walk here.
Once complete the subdivision will contain between 1200 and 2000 new dwellings, a primary school, a neighbourhood centre, cycleways, reserves, wetland areas and coastal walkways.
At the time of cache placement the area is still under development and there is no one living in any of the new dwellings yet (although there are a handful of existing dwellings that are inhabited so stealth will still need to be applied). The area is also very busy with tradespeople during work hours during the construction process.
Each time we walk by here Mrs HeMaLuDy is reminded of the tiger pit at Auckland Zoo, although the rest of the family are not so sure.
This can be reached from the path, no need to climb the fence.
