This BONUS CACHE can be found once you have completed the “US 395 Adventure Series – Lone Pine, CA – North” Adventure Lab and retrieve the needed coordinates. The bonus cache is located at another historical cemetery.
This cemetery was used in conjunction with the Pioneer Cemetery and was an informal burying ground which is now referred to as the Depot Cemetery. The Depot Cemetery was created and used for burials in the spring (until 1884) because the water table at the Pioneering Cemetery was too high to be used. Then in late summer the springtime burials would be disinterred and moved to the Pioneer Cemetery where they would be laid to rest.
This cemetery is no longer in use. Check out some of the old grave markers.
