Geocache Description:

Shands Pier

This area was once an area where the Navy docked their boats. Also many years ago there was a bridge here that was built across the St Johns River. You could ride your horse and carriage over to Green Cove Springs. There are still some signs of the bridge over in Green Cove Springs today.
