Island Paradise


Welcome to the “PT” — Paradise Thataway — GeoArt Series, 68 caches along a 13-km section of the Great Trail, the old railway bed between Port Elgin & Cape Tormentine.

The trail is closed to motorized vehicles (except snowmobiles in the winter). This series makes for a great hike/bike ride during spring to fall and a nice cross-country ski/snowshoe during the winter.

The trail is flat. All cache hides are small, winter friendly (baring heavy snowfall) & less than 20m from the rail bed, though some may require steep descents here and there. We have seen moose, deer and bear in the past.
