Welcome to the beautiful Leatherstocking Trail, the southern end of Westchester County's Colonial Greenway Trail.
The Leatherstocking Trail is a 2.5-mile long trail running from Pinebrook Boulevard in New Rochelle to Rock Ridge Road in Mamaroneck Village. The trail provides a quick and easily accessed respite from urbanized life. Named after "the rugged, self-reliant outdoorsman of James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales" (Larchmont-Mamaroneck Patch, 8/7/2021, Jeff Edwards, Patch Staff).

Another one of my Leatherstocking Trail hides. Unlike my related/nearby hide, The Stag Trail (GC94XV4), there was no bear sighting (thankfully) at this spot. Think Winnie the Pooh.
Please enjoy the trail and leave it better than you found it!
