La differenza tra isola e penisola è abbastanza semplice in quanto l'isola è una formazione di terra completamente circondata da acqua, ininfluente che questa sia di mare, di lago o di fiume. Una penisola è un tratto di terra confinante con acqua su tre lati e con un collegamento alla terraferma.
A dipedenza del periodo dell'anno in cui cercherete la cache, sarete confrontanti con una piccola isola in mezzo al fiume (sarà quindi necessario bagnarsi i piedi o anche altre parti del corpo), oppure con una più facile passeggiata nel greto del fiume.
In ogni caso, fai attenzione a non scivolare !!!
