MELDRUM BAR PARK
Overlooking Gladstone Community Gardens

 

Located in Meldrum Bar Park, this cache is set to look over the Gladstone Community Gardens along the scenic Willamette River. This set of gardens is one of the older and larger community gardens in the Portland Metro area, covering nearly 5 acres and comprised of 134 separate garden lots. I used to enjoy walking among the garden beds before they were forced to erect the fence, so now I can only stop by this location for a good view.

Meldrum Bar Park now requires a $3.00 daily parking pass to enter; credit card machine is located at the park entrance. Park is open daily sunrise to sunset.
