I put out the YEG series to celebrate some of the great things and places around Edmonton. I picked one place or thing for each letter of the alphabet. There might be some disagreement on what to use as sometimes there were more than one for each letter but I tried to pick something that I thought was very interesting or unique about Edmonton.
Deadmonton is a derogatory slang name for Edmonton implying that there is nothing exciting going on in this city but I totally disagree with this. Edmonton is a great city to live in and although it might get cold sometimes in the winter there are lots of things to do and the summer festivals are first rate. So outsiders can joke all they want but they are just jealous of all Edmonton has to offer.
