I put out the YEG series to celebrate some of the great things and places around Edmonton. I picked one place or thing for each letter of the alphabet. There might be some disagreement on what to use as sometimes there were more than one for each letter but I tried to pick something that I thought was very interesting or unique about Edmonton.
Folk Fest is my favourite festival!! It is a 4 day outdoor music festival which is held annually (except for the recent Covid break) on the second weekend of August. The festival draws many people from around the world as both spectators and performers. The music is world class, the atmosphere is amazing and the hill at night is a spectacle not to be missed!
