I put out the YEG series to celebrate some of the great things and places around Edmonton. I picked one place or thing for each letter of the alphabet. There might be some disagreement on what to use as sometimes there were more than one for each letter but I tried to pick something that I thought was very interesting or unique about Edmonton.
Ice District covers 25 acres of land in downtown Edmonton. It has condos, a public plaza, a hotel, 208,000 square feet of retail space and 1.3 million square feet of office space but Rogers Place is its main attraction.
