This is a challenge cache and you must complete the challenge of Filling your Fizzy Grid (Difficulty/Terrain grid) 1 time before logging as found
Cache is at posted coordinates.
An added bonus here, is that I have brought you to another awesome spot in Timaru
When i first started geocaching i had absolutely no idea there was different difficulties and terrain ratings, much less there were 81 different combinations. Once i did find out, i was mildly interested and only mildly. Once the finds started climbing i gathered more interest and started looking at them more often. At some stage i realised this was something to aim for. After another interlude i had a caching friend i used to knock around with and he was pretty competitive... so..... we started actually seeking out the combinations we did not have. And pretty soon discovered project GC .....well then it was all on..... some friendly competition ensued and we actually made various plans to gather as many combinations as possible on our caching adventures.
I really started becoming interested in filling my DT grid at about 65 combinations filled.
Some just fell into place with challenge caches some required alot more work. Slowly but surely the spaces were filled and i could see the objective was achievable. So it was all on to find the missing numbers, develop a plan to achieve a signed log and then go out and do it. To date i have traveled 116,540 kms only in NZ logged 3420 caches, lost alot of blood had many adventures, alot of laughs and been to so many places that i would definitely not have gone if it wasn't for caching. The cache that filled my grid for me was some 579 kms from home base and was conveniently incorporated into a visit to family in the north island. It was number 3316 cache that i logged and it took me 7 years to achieve.
I am sure that if you are looking at this cache with the intention of logging it there will be no need to use the challenge checker to see if you qualify, i am sure you will already know 😊.
It would be awesome if you could write a little (or big) story of your journey to reach this goal. I do enjoy reading well written logs and despise copy and paste logs especially if you find a few of my caches.
To log this cache as found you would have put enormous amounts of planning, travelling, walking, climbing and effort in and there is no doubt about that. and you deserve to log this cache as found.
Its ok to sign the logbook pre achieving the goal and post a note and log as found once you have qualified.
