I put out the YEG series to celebrate some of the great things and places around Edmonton. I picked one place or thing for each letter of the alphabet. There might be some disagreement on what to use as sometimes there were more than one for each letter but I tried to pick something that I thought was very interesting or unique about Edmonton.
Rundle Park is a municipal park on the NE side of Edmonton which features a par 3 golf course, baseball fields, a disc golf course open year-round, an aquatic centre, tennis courts, paddle boat rentals, soccer fields and numerous hiking trails and ponds. Portions of Rundle Park were formerly the Town of Beverly’s garbage dump but you could never tell that now except for the crazy road near the golf course which has settled in numerous places and driving on it is like riding a roller coaster!!
