Tri-Cities 2022 Geocoin Challenge

Columbia Point Marina Park
8am-7pm

• Free, family-friendly event for new and experienced geocachers
   
• Spend a day geocaching around the Tri-Cities (including West Richland) 
   
• Those who complete the challenge will receive a free Tri-Cities Geocoin. Remember ~ Only ONE geocoin per household
   
• Kids (15 and under) who complete the challenge will receive a prize (event day only)

The Challenge will Consist of the Following: 
 

Adult Challenge ~ 4 Adventure Labs (Adult Passport)

Kids Challenge ~ 8 Regular Geocaches (Kid Passport)

Adult & Kid Passports will be available on Saturday, June 25 at Columbia Point Marina Park ~ 9:30am

You must download the Geocaching Adventure Lab App onto your smartphone/device. 

To Register you MUST do the Following: 
 

1. Log "WILL ATTEND" on this event page. 

2. Register through the City of Richland's Parks and Recreation page: Registration Link

Adults ~ Complete the 4 Adventure Labs & Adult Passport 

Kids ~ Find the 8 Geocaches & complete the Kid Passport 

Coin Pickup Time/Locations:

Columbia Point Marina Park, Saturday, June 25 - 3:00-7:00pm

Columbia Point Marina Park, Sunday, June 26 - 9:00am-12:00pm 

Richland Community Center, Sunday, June 26 - After 2pm - Call for current hours - 509.942.7529

Weekend Event Schedule & Food Vendors 
 

Friday Night Meet & Greet + Poker Run Kick Off (GC9VV3J)

6:30pm ~ Poker Run/Night Adventure Lab goes live

6:30pm ~ 8:00pm - Passports can be picked up and returned at the Poker Run table

5:00pm (Saturday, 6/25) ~ Deadline to submit Poker Run passport at the Poker Run table

6:30pm (Saturday, 6/25) ~ Prizes (must be present to win)

Saturday Mega Event

8:00am - Breakfast (Ethos will be joining us again this year)

9:00am - Welcome

9:15am - Adventure Labs/Geocaches - Go Live

3:00-7:00pm - Coin Pickup (Please don't get here before 3pm to pick up your coin. Instead find more geocaches or complete other local Adventure Labs.)

3:00-7:00pm - Dinner (Food Trucks: Gourmet Doggie Style & Tropical Snow)

6:30pm - Prizes (Must be present to win)

As usual, only one (1) geocoin per household. 

Coins available while supplies last. Coins are not guaranteed after the Mega Event Weekend.
