When we moved nearby this spot was bordered by the middle school (the old high school), the adult education center (the old middle school), the Pleasant Hill Library, and the Pleasant Oaks Park. All have under gone drastic changes in the last 17 years. The adult education center closed and was incorporated into the middle school. The lot has been empty most of the time we've lived here. The park was closed for about a year while it was completely revamped. The library (and contra costa libraries offices) closed to make way for new housing which is mostly an empty field at the moment. The old middle school was bulldosed into an empty field which will be an extension of the park and the new library. In a few short months all that work will be done and things will look very different. In other words, "more later."

Speaking of "more later" the sweeter half got a bunch cache containers for Christmas so you can expect "more (caches from us) later."
