“Terry Fox is our hometown hero, who showed the world that dreams are made possible if you try,” said Port Coquitlam mayor Brad West at the opening of the appropriately named Terry Fox Hometown Square in October of 2021.
This short multi brings you to this sprawling plaza that features a large map of Terry's journey that's embedded in the plaza's surface. You will need to retrace Terry's steps to uncover the coordinates for the hidden cache. Although, Terry ran 5,373 kilometres in his incredible Marathon of Hope you won't need to travel nearly as far in your journey.
Start your journey at the east end of the plaza and travel towards the west following the ten milestone in chronological order.
N 49° AB.CDE' W 122° FG.HIJ'
Milestone 1 (Day 1): The first number in Terry's total miles ran = A
Milestone 2: The first number in Terry's total miles ran = B
Milestone 3: The last number in Terry's total miles ran = C
