Archie McCall's Farm
This farm was once owned by Albert Facey's Uncle. Archie moved here in 1902.
The farm was purchsed under the Government Land Settlement Scheme.
The farm was 1000 acres and cost 20 shillings per acre.
Accross the road you will see a mulberry tree which marks the location of the original homestead.
Albert Facey (well known in Wickepin and surounding areas) lived here for about 18 months priorto his 9th birthday.
Archie and Alice McCall left the farm in 1922 to their sons to farm and moved to Bruce Rock.
This stick structure, dam and mulberry tree is all that's left.
Congratulations Diadem being FTF on this cache.
