Geocache Description:

If you have found many of my caches you might be aware that I have a fairly keen interest in science, and it’s not limited to just one science. For example, I enjoy Earthcaches for learning about the Earth Sciences. My interest in Chemistry is usually based around the Periodic Table of Elements. I find the Science of Words, aka Etymology, to be a fascinating subject. Way back in the 20th century I studied and got my Diploma in Computer Science, and on and on it goes.

This is a Mystery (puzzle) cache so you have probably already realized the container will not be found at the posted coordinates. You will need to solve a puzzle to determine where you must go to carry out your search.

Here is your puzzle. Good Luck!

  • In the Periodic Table of Elements, the atomic number of Hydrogen is 1. This is because the Hydrogen atom bears but one proton consider this a gimme
  • Helvetica is the most popular font in the world. Created in 1957, it gets its name from the country of its origin, Switzerland. Swiss in Latin is Helvetica second digit
  • In Windows Computers, to get the letter H you hold down the alt key and type 72. This is called the ASCII code, or ALT code. add up both digits
  • In Scrabble, the letter H is worth 4 points, and there are 2 of them in a standard set of 100 tiles value of tile
  • In Physics, a lower case “h” represents Planck’s Constant,  the fundamental constant of quantum mechanics  letters in the P word
  • In the Hawaiian alphabet, H is the 6th letter. The alphabet consists of just 13 letters: 5 vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and 8 consonants (H, K, L, M, N, P, W, and ʻokine also known as a glottal stop) how many vowels
  • In the Geosciences, lists are used to organize the classifications of rocks and minerals. List H provides information about Igneous rocks  e’s in Geosciences
  • In Binary, H is represented by 01001000 fifth digit
  • The letter H is the 8th letter of the English alphabet which letter?

Arrange your answers in order from first to last, left to right. Assume N49 and W123

Whew! That’s quite the list, isn’t it? Now comes the fun part, solving the puzzle. (Note: Some of you might notice I have used the word fun here in a sarcastic context. Kudos to you for your keen powers of observation)
