A scenic Maraetotara Falls can be found along the popular Maraetotara Historic Walk, close to the site of the old Havelock North Power Station. An easy drive from Napier, pleasant walk and a huge swimming spot at the base of this waterfall, make Maraetotara Falls hugely popular place among the locals.
plenty of parking across the road from the cache - please take the cache back to the car to sign as its a busy area with people coming and going and sitting in the cars.
you will need a pen the cache is big enough for Tbs and swag - please put everything back as you found it and hide well.
the day I placed this many people were swimming or taking photos, you can also park further down the road and walk back along the track.
