Queen Qualia and the Quirky Quahog
Soon after quarantine, during the Quidditch quarterfinal, a quarter mile down the queue, two quahogs quarreled over quaffle quality. The quiet quahog spied the queen’s pavilion high in the stands. He pointed and hissed “Our quarry.” The quirky quahog smirked her quirky smirk. “Quarts for courts she’ll barter that one. Quartz and quicksilver for her majesty on high.” She glanced up at the queen, then down at her companion. “And then?” “And then she shall die,” whispered the quieter quahog.
Finally quit of the queue, they heard the queen shout “Quickly now! Quality liquids to quench my thirst.”
“Your majesty!” shouted the quahogs. “For your quintessential delight we serve only the finest liquid silver from only the finest of diamond goblets.” The queen’s quartermaster shook his head furiously, “No! Please oh please no!” But quashing her qualms, from a quartz goblet Queen Qualia quaffed a quart of quicksilver. “My Queen!” quacked the querulous quartermaster. “It is poison! Act quickly or you will quietly quit this life!”
“Quite,” mumbled the queasy queen. “Quinoa and quince, and warm quail quiche now! Surely that shall quell my, oh. Oh my.” And she fell over quivering and quietly died.
“Quite the quagmire, quite the quandary,” quipped the quirky quahog. She grabbed up the queen’s crown and leapt onto the throne. Holding it high she announced “The queen is dead! Long live the queen!” And so began the reign of the quirky quahog.
