As the name suggests this is a WALK no matter which end you come from.
Macarthur Bridge was opened in 1973, over 1 kilometre long and provides analternative route north from Camden should the Nepean River flood at Camden bridge.
2 parking positions are provided. One near the southern end (closest) and one near the northern end of the bridge.
Geocachers may also like to attempt other caches on the bridge.
Sun hats should be worn, as apart from shade approaching the southern end, as there there is no shade on the bridge for its length and reflective glare may cause sunburn.Taking some drinking water may good idea as well on warm days.
Take some photos during the walk.
