This is my first attempt at a mystery cache. I've provided multiple ways to solve based on different methods I thought were fun and wanted to share. CACHE NOT LOCATED AT POSTED COORDINATES. Solve the clues to determine the final cache location. Enjoy.
Welcome to the Stirling Mill Pond. Hockey games frequently occur here in the winter. During the summer however there was once thought (briefly at least) to be home to an aligator! (Google: Stirling Alligator). Clearly, this seems like a strange sighting for our little Mill Pond. While still a little strange, it would make far more sense for the sighting to have been repoted at S44 17.749 E102 26.526. Thankfully, all our concerns were mitigated and we could return to our crazy games of hockey until our quotas were filled. EvErBody Had a Hoot assuming thE Joly Aligator happily had donuts whilE folks gabbed on sHorE. In the end, things returned to normal and the pictures were considered ART.
Geochecker Note: one of the methods returns coordinates that will get you close enough to find the cache but are slightly off the accepted solution in the geochecker. If you think your method is correct but the geochecker disagrees, add 0.001 to the Latitude and re-submit (hint: the last digit is a 9).
