Kryptophobia (or more fully kryptozoophobia) is an irrational fear of cryptids. Cryptids are elusive creatures where people have allegedly seen but not recognized by mainstream zoology. So some people believe such creatures, while some don't. People who believe cryptids would claim that such creatures are scary and can kill. So this phobia tends towards people who believe in them, while many sufferers claimed to have seen these alleged creatures.
Sufferers of kryptophobia would stay indoors, especially away from forests. If a sufferer sees a cryptid that looks like it may run and attack them, he/she would panic, flee while taking cover, and breathing fast.
The ever so infamous geocaching cryptid Sasq-cache has been seen in the past in this area. Evidence can be seen at the nearby Aussie Ozborne and Aussie in Auburn geocahes. He has also been known to leave his bigfoot glazed "donuts" at geocaching events. Be careful when you are out in the woods there could be a cryptid behind that tree, log or rock and if you are not careful you may encounter the Sasq-cache.
Don't be afraid cryptids aren't real! Right?
