LOCATION: Victoria Hall, New Maryland
In years gone by, at the end of the Come Out and Play winter challenge, we used to gather at Victoria Hall in New Maryland for a games night. I thought it might be fun to put a new twist on that idea and gather at the midpoint of WINCAT for something fun. As current COVID protocols dictate that we will have to remain seated with masks on, except when eating or drinking, that rules out the Giant Jenga game that generated many peals of laughter one year. We'll have to restrict ourselves to conversation, board or card games

Since 2022 has been designated as The Year of the Hide by Geocaching HQ how about a cache container making session for those of us who are so inclined? I have quite a collection of containers that I would love to get camo'd up, have wires attached and logs inserted in so that they are ready to go when opportunity knocks. I'll bet I am not alone in that seeing as how there have been so many caches placed already during WINCAT!
Attendance will be limited to 35 and proof of vaccination will be required. Please log your Will Attend indicating your level of participation - whether you will be bringing games or cache making materials or just dropping in to sign the log. Attendees will need to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. I will be keeping an eye on the COVID restrictions and make adjustments if required to ensure compliance and apprise attendees of such through announcements.
Hope to see you there!
