Celebrate with the geocaching community and "EXPLORE Sicamous" on Saturday September 17, 2022 at the Sicamous Beach Park.
The first geocache was hidden on May 3, 2000. More than 3 million geocaches have been published and so much has happened in the last 20+ years of geocaching. Among other cool things, we launched the EXPLORE Sicamous Geo Tour on July 30, 2022 - have you completed it yet?
Details
Meet us at the Sicamous Beach Park from 11am - 2pm, under the blue pop up tent, to learn all about geocaching and how to participate in the Explore Sicamous GeoTour. You can pick up your GeoTour passport and particpate in finding some local caches to be entered to win some GREAT prizes. There will be a mini geocache event geared specifically for kids on site to
Parking is available in the beach parking lot on Silver Sands Rd. Experienced cachers, and those who are totaly new to geocaching are all welcome!!!
- 11am - pick up your GeoTour Passport, download the app and learn about all things geocaching. There will be a display with a variety of caches you will come across as you discover each location. Head out to find some caches, return your passport to be entered to win an EXPLORE Sicamous Prize Pack.
- 11:30am - We've asked local geocachers to come share geocache experiences, tips and tricks
- 1:30pm - Gather back at the GeoTour tent for the prize draw!!
