Welcome to my first cache.
Hay Plain is a vast flat region in the west of NSW which used to be a lake, it is intersected by the Murrumbidgee and Lachlan rivers. The traditional custodians of this land are the Wiradjuri and the Narri Narri people.
Hidden at the Pevensey rest stop on the Hay Plain, this is an excellent spot to rest and soak up the vastness of the plain on your travels across it.
This is a great article explaining more about the region - https://www.abc.net.au/radionational/programs/archived/hindsight/on-the-hay-plain/4757202
Enjoy the drive and watch out for planes!
