[PL]Przy ul.Zygmunta Augusta, niedaleko głównego budynku dworca kolejowego Bydgoszcz Główna, znajduje się suwnica kolejowa, postawiona w tym miejscu ok. 1910 roku. Jest to jeden z ostatnich kolejowych dźwigów bramowych w Polsce. Zabytkowa suwnica kolejowa została wyprodukowana przez firmę H.Prollius Goerlitz na przełomie XIX i XX wieku. Z kolei elementy nośne zostały dostarczone przez Hutę „Burbach”. Dźwig bramowy służył do rozładunku i załadunku towarów na wagony kolejowe. Przykładowo w latach 50. XX wieku rozładowano wagony tramwajowe z Konstalu, które następnie przeciągnięto po bruku ul.Zygmunta Augusta do pobliskiego toru tramwajowego. Niestety obecnie suwnica kolejowa jest dosyć zaniedbana. W dodatku w 2011 roku skradziono z niej tabliczki znamionowe z udźwigiem i nazwą producenta oraz tabliczki PKP z numerem inwentarzowym.
SKRYTKA: uważaj na spacerujących mugoli (!), odłóż ponownie w to samo miejsce (!), otwórz i włóż palec w dziurkę, a następnie wyjmij całą pokrywkę kesza (!)
[EN]At Zygmunta Augusta Street, near the main building of the Bydgoszcz Główna railway station, there is a railway crane, constructed in this place around 1910. It is one of the last railway gantry cranes in Poland. The historic railway crane was manufactured by the H.Prollius Goerlitz company at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The load-bearing elements were delivered by Huta "Burbach". A gantry crane was used to unload and load goods onto railway wagons. For example, in the 1950s, tram carriages from Konstal were unloaded, and then dragged along the pavement of Zygmunt Augusta Street to the nearby tram track. Unfortunately, at present the railway crane is quite neglected. In addition, in 2011, data plates with the capacity and the name of the manufacturer were stolen from it, as well as PKP plates with an inventory number.
