Geocache Description:

St Peters Freshford Anglican Church.

It is most likely the oldest building in Freshford with parts of the church tower dating from as early as the  15th century.

The church was Grade two listed in 1956 and also has tomb chests from 18th and Early 29th century of that four are listed.

The church was renovated by a Bath city Architect and surveyor Charles Edward Davis also redeveloped the roman Baths sometime in the 1860s.

In 1872 it was agreed that to supplement the churchyard and a plot of land in Freshford was found and consecrated.

The cemetery can be found at (waypoint).
