山梨県立まきば公園は県立八ヶ岳牧場をの一部であり、標高1400mに広がる山梨一広い牧草地を生かした自然公園です。
春から秋には一般公開され、雄大な自然と広大な緑の牧草地の中で牧場の動物とのふれあいが楽しめます。また冬には八ヶ岳牧場を巡るスノートレッキングルートの出発地としても親しまれています。

Yamanashi Prefectural Makiba Park is a part of the prefectural Yatsugatake Ranch, and is a natural park that makes use of Yamanashi's widest pasture that spreads at an altitude of 1400 m.
Open to the public from spring to autumn, you can enjoy interacting with the animals of the ranch in the magnificent nature and vast green meadows. It is also popular as a starting point for snow trekking routes around Yatsugatake Ranch in winter.
The cache was installed at a point where you can enjoy a large panorama spreading from the meadow.
