Tomorrow is Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), the end of Carnival season. ⚜️ It always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, which is the first day of Lent. The official colors of Mardi Gras are purple, gold, and green. You may notice that the date of Mardi Gras varies quite a bit. Mardi Gras always takes place 47 days before Easter. Easter usually falls on the Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox, which occurs March 20 or March 21, depending on the year. When that first full moon is on a Sunday, Easter falls on the following Sunday.
