Update: 11 Nov 2025 - having visited gz for maintenance today, the cache is accessible, but there is overgrowth at gz which can be particularly bad in the Summer. Long trousers are a must. You can get close to the cache with ease, but the last few metres will require some level of dealing with brambles and rough terrain. The most direct approach is not necessarily the easiest.
Wherever possible please always stay on existing paths to reduce damage to the plants and wildlife living in this area. Camping, off-road vehicles and fires are strictly prohibited in this area. Dogs are welcome, but if you have one, please take care to clean up after them. For this cache, sturdy shoes and long trousers are strongly recommended.
This geocache has been authorised by NRW & Ben Samson, the biodiversity officer of Swansea University. If you too would like to place a geocache within the Crymlyn Burrows, please contact wildlife@swansea.ac.uk for further information and guidance.
