Built as the Village School in 1840 it became Padbury Village Hall in 1965 when the building was sold to a group of village trustees to be run as a village hall “for the benefit of the village and the neighbourhood”. Currently well over 200 people a week use the hall for activities which include dance classes, WI, bingo, art classes, camera club, table tennis matches, the Friendly Club, pilates classes and numerous other events. It also hosts such traditional annual events as the Sick Benefit Society weekend and the Padbury Village Produce Show.
