As the name suggests, this cache is to celebrate a special birthday. I asked the mini cachers in the family what might be a good present idea for our friend and a geocache was the answer! I understand why they suggested it as this is for the person who got us into geocaching, has found plenty with us and helped us with our first hides. I wanted to find a significant location and as we met at a certain university, this seemed like a suitable spot!
The cache is only a short walk from the main road. Parking is available on the road side on the housing estate but please be considerate of the houses around. The cache is quite overlooked so stealth will be required. It is also near open water so keep children and dogs under close supervision.
UPDATE
As this has been lost/dropped so many times and the different ways of securing the cache have all failed we have gone for a slightly different approach. Where the cache was originally located is now a number. Please don't post the number in the activity log but send me a message with the correct number to claim the find. Good luck!
