Cette cache a été déposée sur un point de vue fantastique sur les monts bordant le nord de la ville d'Arta. D'ici, vous pourrez (par temps clair !) identiifier Djibouti ville (et le port de Doraleh), les îles Mousha et Maskali ainsi que Tadjoura et la forêt du Daï.
En poursuivant sur le chemin, vous arriverez à la maison du Randonneur d'où vous pourrez profiter des chemins de randonnée dans les montagnes alentours. Attention, la maison n'est ouverte que de novembre à avril (informations ici).
Aux environs de la cache, vous pourrez voir la stèle de commémoration de l'accident du Mont Garbi. Cet accident d'aéronef militaire, survenu le 3 février 1982 coûta la vie à 36 militaires des FFDJ. Le Mont Garbi est assez éloigné (75 km environ) mais étant difficile d'accès, un ancien légionnaire a décidé de créer un monument à cet endroit afin de faciliter le devoir de mémoire.

This cache was placed on a fantastic viewpoint on the mountains bordering the north of the city of Arta. From here, you can (during a clear day!) identify Djibouti city (and the port of Doraleh), the Mousha and Maskali islands as well as Tadjoura and the Daï forest.
Continuing on the path, you will arrive at the Hiker's house from where you can take advantage of the hiking trails in the surrounding mountains. Please note that the house is only open from November to April (information here).
Near the cache, you can see the stele commemorating the Mont Garbi accident. This military aircraft accident, which occurred on February 3, 1982, cost the lives of 36 FFDJ soldiers. Mont Garbi is quite far away (approximately 75 km) but being difficult to access, a former legionnaire decided to create a monument at this location in order to facilitate the duty of memory.
